Troy weight standards, 2 sets in wooden boxes, NSW Government standard, metal/wood/cloth, De Grave and Company, London, England, pre 1883.
Weights are stamped 1883 and 1884. Stamped with the ciphers of Victoria, Edward VII and George V. Presumably used until presented in 1917.

Troy weight standards, 2 sets in wooden boxes, NSW Government standard, metal/wood/cloth, De Grave and Company, London, England, pre 1883.
(-1)Set of troy weight standards (incomplete), in polished wooden box with blue velvet lining. 12 weights ranging from 6 lb to 2 dwt. Each weight is globular shaped with narrow neck and flattened knob, and stamped with the 'VR', 'GR' and 'ER' insignia. (-2)Set of troy weight standards, apparently complete.

Marks
Some weights are stamped '1884 / S W / GOVT OF NEW SOUTH WALES / 1883'. All are stamped with the ciphers VR, ER and GR.
