Bracelet, hair / gilt brass / enamel, [England / France], c. 1840

Mourning-type, three knitted coils of brown hair joined at ends by engraved gilt brass mounts hinged to central medallion bearing oval memento facility surrounded by intense blue baisse-taille enamel, bordered by Poliate scroll work in gilt brass.
