Cup and saucer, porcelain, Chinese reproduction Lowestoft, China, 1820. Small hand painted white porcelain, cup and saucer set. Cup -1 is small straight sided cup with foot and simple curve handle, decorated with a heraldic coat of arms supported by a lion and a horse, other decoration includes flowers and blossom, in pink, purple and red with green foilage, sprays of flowers and shield framed by raised white slip trails, the rim and the foot are banded by red and gold, while the handle has been highlighted with gilt. The saucer -2, is decorated with similar floral designs and blossom, the sprays of flowers are framed by raised white slip trails, and the center well and rim banded with red and gold, deep lip to saucer with gilt rim.
