Description
Tankard, Chinese export ware, porcelain, maker unknown, China, 19th century

Tall tankard with large, fine handle, straight sides with a flare to the foot and the wall thins to the rim, white porcelain with blue design, the design features a Chinese figure looking out over water, trees, pagodas and a duck, the outer rim has a repetitive floral border, the handle has a stylised floral motif and a small relief emblem on the peak of the curve.
