Note on file says Saite Period (XXVIth Dynasty).
It either originates from Saqqara or Memphis.
In Egyptian mythology, the goddess Sekhmet was depicted as a lioness and was the warrior goddess and protector of the Pharaohs.
This is part of a large collection of antiquities, including Egyptian faience figures, bronze figurines, scarabs and earthenware objects. They originate from Egypt, Italy, India and the Middle East.

Amulet, "Sekhmet", faience, unknown maker, Egypt, Saite Period, BCE 664-525

Amulet, light blue faience, finely rendered, in the form of the Egyptian lion-headed goddess Sekhmet. The legs and right arm are missing (broken). A suspension hole runs through the back pillar.
