Description
Statuette, bronze, maker unknown, Egypt, date unknown

The figure is of a male deity in a seated position. It depicts the god Horus, son of Osiris and Isis, as a child. He wears the Double Crown of Egypt and holds his hand to his mouth (an artistic convention for depicting children). The figurine was possibly originally part of a larger figurine group, being seated on his mother, Isis', lap.
