Difficult to date - 6th Dynasty to Roman Period, BCE 2323-395 CE. From Memphis or Saqqara, Egypt.
In Egyptian mythology Osiris was the god of the Afterlife.
This is part of a large collection of antiquities, including Egyptian faience figures, bronze figurines, scarabs and earthenware objects. They originate from Egypt, Italy, India and the Middle East.

Statuette, Osiris, bronze, maker unknown, Egypt, 6th Dynasty to Roman Period, BCE 2323-395 CE

The bronze figure of Osiris, Egyptian deity, has a square base with a side loop and a suspension loop on its back. It is identifed as Osiris because it wears the Atef Crown of Upper Egypt and holds the crook and flail.
