Lithgow pottery bread tray: cream body; L 36.00cm; W 25.4cm unglazed, with the inscription in relief "Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread". Has four feet on corners of base. The plate had been painted, but has since been stripped with caustic soda. Marked with a kangaroo in a double circle "TradeMark Lithgow". 1889 Catalogue No 16; 1895 Catalogue No. 52.(SB).
