Description
Bottle, lustre ware, Kashan, Iran, 1600-1699.
Squat bottle with rounded body, narrow foot and short fluted lip. Exterior is blue with rose-bronze lustre decoration of foliate motifs and medallions around the body, on top part of body floral motifs with geometric border. The lip is of the lustre and a darker trim around the edge. The interior is white with small stylised foliate motifs around the inside of the lip.
