Jardiniere, Regent, blue irises, gold outline, made by Doulton & Co, Burslem, England, 1885-1891

Ovoid jardiniere with curved shoulder and wide neck, the body is painted with iris in indigo, outlined in raised gilt and surrounded by clouded gold on reserved body. Neck has indigo ground with gold 'imari' style pattern.
