Parasol handle, flowers, earthenware, made by Doulton and Co, Burslem, England, 1890.
A wheel-made, earthenware, parasol handle, decorated with flowers. The handle is sperical in shape, with a short, cylindrical opening for the insertion of the shaft of the parasol. The handle is decorated in Chine style, with an all-over, impressed net pattern. Painted over this are sprays of red flowers, outlined in gold, on a black background.

Remains of circular label adhered to outside of handle, printed in brown '[J]ohn'.
