Plaque, two girls and dog, porcelain, made by Doulton and Co, Burslem, England, c1895.
A plaque, oval in shape, made from fine bone china, bearing a decoration of two girls playing with a dog. The plaque is concave at the back face and convex at the front face. The front face is decorated with a blue transfer print, depicting two girls in a field of flowers, dressing a dog with a daisy chain, on a white background.

Maker's number incised at back '71'. Circular paper label adhered to base, printed in brown with the number written in black ink 'ROYAL DOULTON / - / John Slater Collection No...349'. Starburst paper label adhered to back, written in black ink 'K/'.
