A plaque, oval in shape, made from fine bone china, decorated with an image of two children. The plaque is concave at the back face and convex at the front face. The front face is decorated in a blue transfer print, depicting a young girl comforting a small boy in an outdoor setting, on a white background.

Maker's number incised at back '20'. Circular paper label adhered to base, printed in brown with the number written in black ink 'ROYAL DOULTON / - / John Slater Collection No...348'. Starburst paper label adhered to back, written in black ink 'K/-'.
