A plaque, made from moulded porcelain, rectangular in shape and flat at both front and back. The back is plain white and the front is decorated in 'Old Dutch Style' of a town scene, depicting buildings, trees and people walking by a canal, in red lithographic transfer print on a white background.
Marks
Starburst paper label adhered to back, written in pencil ' Pricil / 4 R/-'. Circular paper label adhered to back, printed in brown, with the number written in black ink, 'ROYAL DOULTON / - / John Slater Collection No...299'. Rectangular paper label adhered to back, written in black ink 'B59'. Number written in pencil on front of plaque, at top right corner '12'.
