Dentifrice box, 'Orange-Flower Cream Dentifrice', earthenware, made by Doulton & Co, Burslem, England, 1891-1902

A rectangular box, made from moulded porcelain, painted pale brown on the exterior. A free-form moulded base rises to a curved wall, with an instep for the lid to sit. The exterior is painted pale brown and the interior and base are plain white.
