Vase, earthenware, reticulated, Fischer, Budapest, Hungary, c1880.
Trained at Herend, Ignac Fischer was the owner of this pottery established in the 1860s. Ignac's son, Emil Fischer, took over the factory in 1895 whcih was eventually bought by the Zsolnay Factory at Pecs.

Printed mark in blue on the base: FISCHER J/BUDAPEST
Factory paper label adhered at the base reads: FabN 1751 DesN mo. Incised factory (pattern) number : 1751.
