Pot, black topped ware, excavated in a 19th Dynasty tomb, [made in el-Badari], Egypt, Predynastic Period, c. 5000-4000 BC

Funerary urn of red and black pottery with flat base and conical body broken on one side. The lower part of the vessel is red and the top and inside of the lip is black. The outside is burnished all over.
