Handkerchief with lace edge, bobbin lace technique, cotton, place and date unknown
This handerchief is constructed using the bobbin lace technique with cloth stitch used in the flowers, scrolls and leaves. Tallies are used in the centres of the flowers shapes and the design motifs are all joined with plaited bars. This handerchief is made of cotton.

Handkerchief with lace edge, bobbin lace technique, cotton, place and date unknown
A handkerchief with a lace edge, bobbin lace technique, made of cotton with a floral design. Rectangular in shape the handkerchief has a shield shaped solid cotton centre with a lace border consisting of a floral design of rose-like flowers, scrolls and leaves. This handkerchief is constructed using the bobbin lace technique with cloth stitch used in the flowers, scrolls and leaves. Tallies are used in the centres of the flowers shapes and the design motifs are all joined with plaited bars. This handkerchief is made of cotton.
