Medallion contained in a presentation box with cardboard slip cover.
Circular medallion made of bronze with an unmilled edge. Obverse features a central effigy of Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen with surrounding text, "WILHELM CONRAD ROENTGEN / 100 YEARS OF X-RAYS 1895-1995". Reverse features a raised depiction of an x-ray tube with text above, "Prof. W.H. BRAGG / A.L. ROGERS / S. BARBOUR" and surrounding text, "FIRST X-RAYS IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA / MAY 1986."
The medallion is contained in a blue felt, flip top presentation box. The base of the interior is lined with blue felt and features a circular cut-out section into which the medallion sits. The inside of the lid is lined with white material and a white adhesive manufacturer's label is adhered to the centre.
The presentation box is enclosed within a rectangular, white cardboard slip cover.
