This group contains the internal use postal forms not generally seen by the public, and hence not generally collected. Where there are groups on a specific subject (eg. tender documents, OHMS envelopes) their designs and the wording included show how much more detailed these forms became as the post office evolved into the bureaucratic machine it is today. Many of these forms relate to services covered in the group "forms used by the public" (P.1140/75) and therefore complement this group.
