Object statement
Postal card, Under Paid, cardboard / ink, Australian Post Office, Australia, ND
These labels show how the manufacture of labels changed over time as many have schedule numbers and printing dates. The earliest formats are on paper with gum arabic, to be replaced later by self-adhesive types. These labels were often separated into singles for use by the public, therefore complete sheets as printed are uncommon. Refer to E Frazer, "The Official Postal labels of Australia" for details of individual types.
