Description
Ceramic form (7 pieces), 'Dirty Dog' series, handbuilt earthenware, applied underglazed decoration, made by Stefan Szonyi, Daylesford, Victoria, 1977. The form consists of a bowl with detatchable anthropomorphic dog figurines seated or hanging from the rim.
(-1) The bowl is an inverted bell shape with a pink body and green decorative borders around the top and bottom. On the side is a picture within a circle of a dog in a top hat and another in a beret.
(-2) a pair of dogs,
(-3) a hanging dog
(-4) a masturbating dog
(-5) a black dog
(-6) a whistling dog
A deflated condom (-7) is also draped over the rim.
