Description
Ceramic form, unglazed stoneware, Joan Grounds, Australia, c.1971.
Upright tablet, shaped with an almost 2 dimensional trophy cup standing on an almost 2 dimensional rectangular base. The base decorated in shades of brown against sepia with an [etched] image of a mug lying on it's side with a feather. On the other side of the base is the image in sepia of a small square containing a chequered pattern.
