Description
Folding coat hanger, textile / metal, made by Murdoch's, Sydney, part of shop stock, Wong family, Australia, c.1880-1930.
The coat hanger is composed of three rectangular frames of wire, mounted on a central hinge. The middle wire frame is mounted with a hook. The two outer frames are strung across with a piece of black grosgrain ribbon. The ribbon is printed in gold with "MURDOCH'S / IN PARK ST. LTD. SYDNEY / "Outfitters For Men""
