Lawnmower, power rotary two-stroke petrol with catcher 'Victa Viceroy', metal / plastic / rubber, designed and made by Victa Pty Ltd, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, 1962
Two tone green hammertone painted metal base with four plastic and rubber wheels on concealed axles. The base supports a vertically mounted two stroke engine covered by a metal petrol tank and cowl. On the top of the cowl is a folding metal handle for winding up the reaction starter for the engine. A folding chromed tubular metal handle is fixed to the rear axle and there is an accelerator lever on the top of the handle. A green hammertone painted metal grass catcher fits onto the back of the base plate. The word Victa is embossed and painted white on the front of the base. A decorative metal strip and decal between the bars of the handle has the word Viceroy.
