Long straight kris with silver scabbard, this weapon was obtained from Sumatra at the close of the Achinese War, part of the Benton Collection (SB). ...Executioner's kris, straight laminated blade, carved polished horn hilt, heavy silver decoration at ricasso, wood scabbard, chape and locket of embossed Eastern silver, Sumbawa or Melanesia (OF).
