Eight-day, brass-dial, longcase clock with rolling moon dial, calibrated for high water at Bristol Key. Dial centre is engraved with scene of ships passing a headland. 'Henry Lane Bristol' is engraved on the chapter ring. The wood of the case is likely to be a mixture of red (Virginia) walnut and mahogany. The case has a double top pediment - a swan neck above a dome. The hood door has the original glass and the hood pillars show a ropetwist effect.
