Traditional dance ornaments of the Tiwi People, these items have been made the same traditional way for possibly thousands of years. This group of objects were made by three women, Juanita Tipiloura, Mary Margaret Orsto, and Marie Evelyn Pautjimi.

Description
Arm ring, plant fibre/feathers, Juanita Tipiloura, Mary Margaret Orsto & Marie Evelyn Pautjimi, Tiwi People, Bathurst Island, Northern Territory, 1996-1997. Arm ring made from palm leaf fibre and painted yellow. White feathers attached to rigid plaited fibre tassel which is in turn attached to the ring.
