Flask (two-piece), belonging to Sir George Reid, wicker/glass/silver plate/cork, [Australia], 1880-1914
Small, glass bottle flask sits within a silver plate base, woven wicker surrounds the main body of the flask. The flask is surmounted by a bulbous, silver plate, screw-on bottle lid. This flask was possibly used for holding whisky. There are no maker's marks, however the flask is inscribed on the silver plate base 'G. H. R./ 1914/ S. Mc C'.
