Shoes, pair, women's, leather/rubber/metal, made for Phantom of the Opera, Jodie E Morrison, Steppin' Out, Sydney, Australia, 1997.
Pair of women's shoes, of cemented construction with pointed toe and covered louis heel. The uppers consist of dark gold stamped leather imitating animal skin, edged in red, with a pale gold snakeskin textured leather trim edged in green, seamed at centre front and back, the vamp overlaying the quarters and featuring a shaped and extended tongue which curls over the front of the shoe, finishing in a red suede tassle. The quarters are lined in brown leather, the vamp/tongue in silver leather. The shoes feature a red leather sock to which the maker's label is stitched. The heel is covered in gold textured leather and the brown leather painted sole features a textured rubber forepart and top piece cemented onto base of heel and forepart of sole.
