Chromolithograph, Swedish embroidery, 'Bag, "Vaska"', paper, [Sweden], c.1870-1880. Chromolithograph with image of embroidered shoulder bag in green and red, bearing the date 1868. An inscription at base of page reads "BAG, "V�?SKA"/Used BY PEASANT WOMEN OF THE PROVENCE OF DELECARLIA, SWEDEN. 19th century./The property of the "Friends of Manual Art" Society, Stockholm."
