Netsuke, Japanese toggle, 'Mushrooms', boxwood, maker unknown, Japan, 1700-1900. Handcarved wooden form. Depicts two mushrooms. One mushroom is large with a long trunk and a conical head with a flat top. The other is small with a dome shaped head. The small mushroom nestles against the base of the large mushroom's trunk.
