  • 38 class steam locomotives were built between 1943 and 1949. They saw the last period of mass rail travel prior the increased popularity of the family car and the rise of domestic air travel.

Modelled by Precision Scale Models of Victoria. Precision Scale models has built up a reputation in the Australian railway modelling scene for offering the best quality products to an established clientele of enthusiasts both in Australia and overseas.

Made by the Samhongsa Company in Korea. In order to provide the correct specification to Samhongsa and to monitor progress, Precision Scale Models have liaised closely with the musuem and 3801 Limited to ensure the most accurate reflection of the restored state.
