Signed, lower right corner, handwritten in sepia ink: "E Manchester"; Addressed, reverse (when folded) centre top, handwrittten in sepia ink: "Mr Yorkney's Warr[.y]/ Lond"; Dated, reverse (when folded) centre bottom, handwritten in sepia ink:" 13. May. 1661"; Additional inscription, reverse (when folded) lower right corner, handwritten in pencil, different hand to rest of letter: "RS/100".
