Design drawing, graphite and pen and ink wash on paper, rectangular, horizontal format, mounted on grey cardboard, depicts a proposed design for the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Circular Quay station, featuring a 'Golden Gate' style suspension bridge and a tram network, the region illustrated includes Dawes Point and the Botanical Gardens in the foreground, and North Sydney and Kirribilli in the background. The artist was probably JJC Bradfield, Chief Engineer of the Harbour Bridge and City Railway. A copy of this drawing, in the collection (P2657) has the title: 'View of Proposed Design for City Railway, Circular Quay and Sydney Harbour Bridge'.
