This shirt was made either by the Kalagan of Kulaman peoples of the the Davao or Cotabato districts of Mindanao Island, Philippines.

This shirt was made between 1900 and 1950.
This shirt was purchased by the vendor from the Mindanao Souvenir Shop, Davao City, Mindanao, Philippines in 1980.

Shirt (dagom), woman's, embroidered cotton/glass beads, [Kulaman people], Southern Mindanao, Philippines, 1900-1960

Womens shirt made of indigo dyed cotton, simple rectangular bodice features a V-neck bound with red cotton and straight sleeves. The blouse is surface embellished with miniature white glass beads that form densely beaded bands at the waist, neck, upper sleeves and cuffs with regularly spaced small floral clusters between.
