Envelope with insert, centenary of Hargrave first flight, paper, Illawarra Philatelic Society, Australia, 1994.
White envelope, printed on left side on in ochre is a sketch of the Hargrave monument at Bald Hill, Stanwell Park, New South Wales, and of Hargrave flying one of his box kites. Title 'CENTENARY of FIRST FLIGHT/LAWRENCE HARGRAVE NOV.12 1894. 1 x 45c Lawrence Hargrave commemorative stamp. Postmark: FIRST DAY OF ISSUE 29 AUGUST 1994/STANWELL PARK NSW 2508.
The insert is printed on thick yellow paper. Decorative boarder printed in gold, in black text titled: 'LAWRENCE HARGRAVE -/The Man on the Twenty Dollar Note'. Short text on history of Lawrence Hargrave and his flight at Stanwell Park in 1894.
