Wall hanging, 'Grannie Time 1933', designed and painted by Lucy Dalgarno, fabric applique and paint on calico, rectangular, horizontal format, portrays a rural scene illustrating the Nursery Rhymes, 'Little Boy Blue', 'Little Bo Peep' and 'Mary Had A Little Lamb', with the three title characters depicted in applique in the foreground, their hands, face and shoes made of leather, their clothing of various fabrics, Mary's lamb and Bo Peep's two sheep are in wool and cotton applique. Behind them is a sceen painted in soft watercolours with farmhouses, windmill, haystack and sheep and cows at pasture, set against a blue sky. The title and date are painted in the bottom left corner. The ends of the calico are machine hemmed, the top and bottom selvedges.
