Description

Dining chair and advertising leaflet, silky oak / plastic / paper, designed by Karen Ingeborg & Associates, produced by Swedish-Craft packaged Furniture, Australia, 1953-1960

Comprises eleven individual structural components in silky oak, and is housed in a plain cardboard box which includes instructions and a packet of tacks.
Assembled dining chair, made of unfinished silky oak & black plastic webbing in "do it yourself" construction. Consists of unitary "S" shaped side piece to which are attached the back rails and the seat. Legs are tapered to the base & are fitted to the seat at an angle. Seat consists of black plastic webbing attached to the seat with tacks. Includes advertising leaflet, box was not kept as it was in poor condition.
