This dress was worn by the donor, Pamela Skelton, when she was a flowergirl at a wedding, at the age of three
The dress was retained by Pamela Skelton until she donated it to MAAS in 1990

(Part 1) Flowergirl dress, homemade, long, undershift of pink art silk, waisted, with gathered bodice and double row of frills around hem; full length overlay of pink cotton net, including short, puff sleeves, the net is sewn to the silk in a series of bands from neck to waist; pale pink velvet ribbons are looped into rosettes at each shoulder; front of bodice is decorated with glass beads sewn in star patterns, fastened with press-studs at each shoulder.
(Part 2) Coat-hanger, homemade, wooden frame with metal wire hook, covered in pink knit fabric, with frilled edge and cental rosette in blue, green, yellow and pink.
