Conical vase, tiered circular base, body flaring gently to rim; bands of animals and geometric repeat patterns 'incised' on body (OF). Vase, tall, with band of animals in decoration, from the Roman specimens discovered at Hildesheim (& engraved flower ornament) Height 14", diameter 7" (LC).
