This pantie girdle is typical of the 'youth' orientated undergarments of the 1960s. New fibres heralded the decline in functional foundation wear. There was also a marketing change for Berlei at this time which saw them selling to teenagers who did not need corsetry.

Pantie girdle made of printed white tricot lycra with all over repeat pattern of pink roses with green foliage. Centre front is decorated with a small bow. White nylon crotch and four small loops around hem for suspenders.

Stamped inside centre back: 'REFERENCE SAMPLE/21 SEP 1966'. White fabric label inside centre back inscribed: 'Slip 99C/82/One Size LYNDA/27-9-66'.
