Owned by mr Neville Thomson (deceased), born 1925. 1947 joined Bathurst locomotive division of NSW Railways as an engine cleaner. In 1948 shifted to Lithgow and worked way up to become number one special class driver in Lithgow. He was initiated into the Buffaloes 20 October 1963 and ended up at highest elevation; the Knights.

Description
Apron, Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, metal/fabric/vinyl, Regalia Manufacturers Somers and Sons, Brisbane, Australia, 1960-1970. (-1) Apron, roughly square shape, white leather edged with red gros grain and gold embroidery, triangular piece at top extends down with two straps to which are attached monogrammed bar clasps and baubles hanging on chains (chime when moved), two Buffalo badges in centre, fabric belt at top, whole baked in red PVC. (-2)Ribbon (worn around neck), red fabric attaches at nec, bar clasp each side with gold coloured thread buffalo mongram above, gold coloured medallion with enamelled details pendant at bottom.
