Description
A work reference by Adolf Lazi for Hedda Hammer (Morrison), printed on Lazi's studio letterhead. It is typed in German and signed by Lazi and dated 30 August 1932. The reference reads (in translation):

'Miss Hedda Hammer worked as a volunteer in my studio from Sept. 1931 to 30 August 1932. There was no job available. Miss Hammer wished to spend a year on practical work at the conclusion of her studies at the Munich Photography School. Her professional skills were greatly consolidated during this practical year and excellent achievements can be expected of her in her profession. Unfortunately the economic conditions preclude our employing her on a salaried basis. I wish Miss Hammer a very successful future.
