Sold by Rudall Carte to LF Collin, Melbourne, 25.10.1912. Owned and played by Mr J.C. Watson, Melbourne (Jimmy Watson, early twentieth-century amateur flautist and owner of Jimmy Watson's winebar in Lygon Street, Carlton, Melbourne).

Case marked on lid: "On loan by the generosity of the late J.C. Watson"
