Exhibit, depicting printing trades, Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, Sydney, Australia, 1928
The Printing Trades Exhibition which opened at the Technological Museum, Sydney in 1928 was arranged by the Sydney printing company S.T. Leigh and Co Ltd. They were printers, lithographers, manufacturing stationers, and decorated tin and cardboard box manufacturers. The company was established in 1852 and in 1928 their premises were at Raleigh Park, Kensington, NSW.
The Exhibition also included contributions from the following companies: Carmichael & Co., Edwards Dunlop, Fairfax (John Fairfax & Sons, Sydney Morning Herald), Hartland Hyde , Heine, J & Sons, White and Gillespie, Wimble, F.T. (Museum's Annual Report 1928)
