Administrative history
Wilfred Edward Pennings (born 21 March 1917) was educated at the Junior Technical School, Rozelle, 1930-31 and the Central Technical School, Ultimo, 1932. He undertook the four-year Carpentry and Joinery trade course at Sydney Technical College, 1933-37, during which time he was apprenticed to a Burwood joiner's shop, H. Hollibone Ltd. He resigned in 1937 and worked for a number of builders. In 1947 Mr Pennings returned to Sydney Technical College as a carpentry teacher, a position he held until his retirement.

Pennings (b. 1917) was a carpenter and a teacher of carpentry. This is a small group of papers relating to his technical education including reports and certificates from the Junior Technical School, Rozelle, Sydney Technical College and the Master Builders Association of NSW.
