Portable record player, plywood cabinet of rectangular shape with lid hinged at rear and covered in a red canvas/resin 'leatherette', the lid is covered inside and out with same in a cream colour. Front has a white mesh grill with a red plastic surround at lower right around tone and volume buttons, trimmed and labelled in gold. Red Bakelite hinged carry handle on one side, inside is a turntable, the base of which is of painted cream metal, brown painted metal playing arm and levers with rubber turntable. The powercord and plug store inside when not in use. Lid is kept closed by chrome clasps, on bottom and on opposite side to carrying handle are four rubber feet.
