Man's swimsuit, 'paper suit', 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, as used by the Australian Team, nylon / lycra, Speedo Australia Pty Ltd, Australia, 1988.
Woven fabric racing briefs with high cut leg and drawstring waist, threaded with white nylon cord. Bottle green ground with yellow stylised platypus motif at the back right hip, Speedo and boomerang logo transfer at front right hip. 'Australia / 88' printed at left hip.

Cardboard swing tag attached, printed with 'SPEEDO' and boomerang logo. Also inscribed in black ink with '1988 SEOUL / OLYMPIC GAMES / 'PLATYPUS' WOVEN NYLON/LYCRA / 'PAPER SUIT' / MENS / RACER 16/34'.
