Description
Man's swimsuit, 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, as worn by the Australian Team, nylon / lycra, Speedo Australia Pty Ltd, Australia, 1988.
Racing briefs with high cut leg and drawstring waist threaded with white nylon cord. Green ground with stylised platypus motifs in gold and 'Australia' printed in white. White Speedo and boomerang logo transfer applied to the right hip. Inserted yellow panel at the left hip and printed in green with a shield featuring a kangaroo, the Olympic rings and 'AUSTRALIA / 1988'.

Cardboard swing tag attached, printed with boomerang logo and 'SPEEDO'. Also inscribed in black ink with '1988 / SEOUL / OLYMPIC GAMES / NYLON/LYCRA / RACER / MENS 16'.
